Sandra N. Spaulding, 68 of Sloan, Iowa passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at a local hospital, surrounded by her family. Per Sandra’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. In remembrances of Sandra’s life, the family asks that any flowers to be made to your favorite charity.

Sandra was born January 9, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Boyd and Gladyse (Arfman) Spaulding. She grew up in Sioux City, Iowa where she graduated from East High School. Sandra went on to continue her education at the Stuart’s School of Hairstyling. In 1975 she married Daniel Wikstrom, and in this union three daughters were born, Melissa, Amy & Alison. Sandra and Daniel later divorced.

Over the years Sandra worked as an Office Manager, Cosmetologist, and as a process server. After she retired Sandra began crafting, which she loved to do.

She is survived by her daughter, Alison Wikstrom, of Sloan, Iowa, three grandchildren, Jade, Jordan, and Daniel, II, Kiyrah Karstens of Waverly, IA, and last but not least her Best Friend, Ronda Blundell of Sloan, Iowa.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Amy Wikstrom and Melissa Wikstrom.
