Sally J. Goergen, 70 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, after a long illness, with her family surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 am Monday, July 14, 2025, at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Sally was born on May 27, 1955, in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Joseph and Elsie (Smith) Orth. She attended West High School. On August 15, 1998, she was united in marriage to Edward Goergen in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sally worked at John Morrell and later at Metz Baking, later known as Sara Lee in Sioux City. She also worked at Walmart Supercenter on Singing Hills Blvd. until 2022.

She enjoyed traveling especially with her husband Ed to Las Vegas and going to Auctions and other sales venues.

Sally is survived by her husband Ed, two sons, Garry (Becky) Mulheron and Matthew Mulheron, daughter, Jessica (Chris) Mulheron, 3 sister, Sharon Ashoff, Sherril (Dave) Peck, and Stephanie Grant, brother, Harold (Nancy) Orth, 7 grandchildren; Kayla, Kara, Kelly, Kensie, Austin, Mattie, and Kaiden, one great grandchild, Stetson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant son, Jason Lee Mulheron.
