Ryan Steven Maier, 26, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at a local hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Whiskey Dicks, 212 Cunningham Drive, Sioux City, Iowa. Waterbury Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements.

Ryan was born on Friday, March 7, 1997, in Marysville, Ohio to Richard Maier and Sheila Raines. Ryan moved to Sioux City in 2011.

Ryan enjoyed computers and playing basketball.  He liked listening to music. He was always smiling and making people laugh. Most of all, he loved being a dad.

Ryan is survived by his daughter Ahri Maier; mother, Sheila; brother Joshua (Sarah) Wyatt and their children: Stella, Sonny and Josey; sister Chelsey Wyatt and grandmother, Virginia Raines.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father and grandfather, Harold Raines.
