Ruperto C. Navarrete,Jr. 69 of Sergeant Bluff, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at local hospital. Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, January 27,2018 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the funeral home.

Ruperto C. Navarrete Jr. was born June 8, 1948 in Mac Sogod Southern Leyte, Philippines, the son of Ruperto Navarrete Sr. and Rosario Castino Navarrete .

Ruperto C.Navarrete Jr. worked most of his life as a driver, he was very dedicated to his job that he hardly missed any days of work. He loved to sing and dance also enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart shows every morning. Ruperto played guitar and listened to country music, he also work at Tyson Meat Inc. for over 10 years.

He is survived by his wife Melalona Relos Navarrete, and 7 children; Raylina Navarrete Wimmer (daugther) from Sgt Bluff, IA, Ruel Relos Navarrete (son) from Philippines, Angielyn Relos Navarrete (daughter) from Philippines, Melper Navarrete Weaver (daughter) from South Sioux City, Ne, Julius Navarrete (son) from Philippines, Fearlyn Navarrete (daughter) from Philippines and Marjorie Navarrete Silvallana (daughter) from Philippines, 7 grandchildren Jake Navarrete Wimmer, Louise G. Navarrete, Jaiden G. Navarrete, Kayla Weaver, Jedediah G. Navarrete, Keyana Weaver and Prince N Silvallana and 1 great grandchild Aiden M. Wimme, 1 brother Rev. William Navarrete and a sister Leonisa Navarrete Sasil.

He was preceded in death by his sister’s Violeta Navarrete Diez and Delia Navarrete Sabaldan.

He will be missed by many, your smile and kindness will be remembered forever, Rest In Peace papa till we see you again.
