Roy Richard Eisley, 82 of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at a care center in Sergeant Bluff.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff with Rev. Martha Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
Ray was born on September 12, 1929 in Wynot, Nebraska, the son of Wilson Sr., and Florence (Nordyke) Eisley. He spent most of his life in Sioux City and most recently resided at the Embassy Care Center in Sergeant Bluff.
Ray worked for Vhl’s Turkey Farm for many years and also at the Sioux City Stockyards.
Ray was a very carefree happy person who loved family, children and food.
Survivors include a brother, Levi Eisley of Sioux City; his nephews, Wilson and his wife LuAnn Eisley of Sergeant Bluff, and Jim Eisley of Sioux City; his nieces Judy Eisley of Sioux City and Janice Plendl of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
