Roxanne I. Longlee, 64, of Sioux City, IA, passed away June 30, 2024.   A memorial service will be held Monday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Roxanne was born on December 31, 1959, in Sioux City, IA to Gordon and Violet (Durston) Longlee.  After graduating from North High School, she went on to attend Briar Cliff College and St. Joe School of Nursing.  Roxanne worked as a Registered Nurse in various local nursing homes and hospitals for over 21 years.  She enjoyed reading, animals, garage sales, gardening, photography, and spending time with family. Roxanne was a member of Salix United Methodist Church.  She is known for her giving nature, acts of service, and wonderful sense of humor.

Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Violet Longlee of Salix; sisters, Rene Vaske of Sioux City and Gerri Hunter of Moville; Great Aunt Lilly (Joe) Smith of Allen, NE; her daughter, Amber (Richard) Crowson of Sioux City; her son, Shane Handke of Clarksville, IN; and two beloved grandchildren Neela and Jimmy Crowson.

She is preceded in death by her father Gordon Longlee.
