Rose A. Petrik, 65 of North Sioux City, SD passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her home. Memorial Service will be held 6pm Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday, July 7, 2023, at the funeral home.

Rose was born June 19, 1958, in Rochester, MN the daughter of Marvin and Marie (Wucherpfenning) Vandezande. She lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota until 1980 when Rose moved to Springfield. On May 30, 1981, she married Gary Petrik.

She worked at Tyson on the production line, and then Rose went to work for Wal-Mart until her passing. She enjoyed being around her family.

Rose is survived by her husband, Gary, two children, Raymond (Karla), Jeannie (Steve), two grandchildren, Katlyn Petrik, and Hunter Petrik sister Linda, brother-in-law, Tom Petrik, and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, aunt, Jeanette Paugh, and her mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Felix Petrik.
