Rosaura Azpeitia, 48, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on October 2, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Visitation will be Saturday from 4-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rosaura was born on December 14, 1974, in Brownsville, TX to Miguel and Maria Aleman Cervantes. She graduated from North High School and went on to receive her Associate’s degree from Morningside College.  She was united in marriage to Juan Azpeitia on May 27, 2005, in Sioux City.  Rosaura worked at Gateway and most recently Tyson.  She loved her family and spending time with them.  They enjoyed going on vacations to Mexico and Texas and weekend trips to Omaha, Des Moines and Okoboji.  She was a member of Sunnybrook Church and enjoyed making scarves.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Juan Azpeitia, Sioux City, IA; children: Rosaura, Estrella and Miguel, all of Sioux City; grandchildren: Nayomi and Santiago; parents: Miguel and Maria; and her siblings: Julio, Jose and Laura.
