Ron L. Reich, 81, of Sioux City, IA, passed away at a local hospital on September 16, 2025.  There will be no services at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Ron was born on June 27, 1944, in Scottsbluff, NE to Alex and Millie (Kraus) Reich.  He graduated from Morrill, NE high school and enlisted into the United States Army.  Ron was united in marriage to Suzanne (Suzy) Boley in August of 1966.  He then continued his education at the University of Nebraska and University of Wyoming, earning bachelor's degrees in business, teaching, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

He started his career teaching high school math and science and then began working as an engineer. He retired from Tyson Foods, where he was a project engineer. He loved spending time with his family, especially with the love of his life, Suzy; working outside on projects; fishing and camping; and reading.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Suzanne Reich; daughter; Erica (Gary) Lembke and grandson Carter; son, JD (Natalie) Reich and grandsons Jack and Charlie and granddaughter Mila.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his two brothers, Delbert and Terry Reich.
