Rochelle M. "Shelly" Gonzales, 63, of Moville, IA, passed away March 30, 2024.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Morningside Assembly of God, with Pastor Johnny Helton officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Shelly was born on November 9, 1960 in Fairbury, NE . She was adopted by Fred and Yvonne Madsen on March 6th, 1961. Shelly grew up in Laurel, NE. Her family moved to Sibley, IA. August 1st, 1972. She was She was Married to Curt Lamfers and to this union 5 children were born. She later Married Tommy Diller. They resided in Reno, Nevada. There she worked as a CNA with her dear friend Annie Rogers. She Moved back to Sioux City to be closer to family. On April 16th, 2010 she was united in marriage to Christopher Gonzales in Fort Collins, Colorado. Shelly loved to bake and was often asked for cookies, bars and breads. She was a long time member of Morningside Assembly of God church for many years. She very deeply loved her family and children, especially her grandchildren. She had a Big Heart and will be missed by many.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Christopher Gonzales;  mother, Yvonne Grimmius,  brother, Randy Madsen, 3 half-sisters, Deanne Pregno, Lois Briones, and Kimberley Winsor, Children Curtis Lamfers,  Tanya Meister, Sioux City, April Beardshear (Ryan), grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Anna and Sarah Beardshear, Moville, Iowa. Linkyn, Sioux City.

She is preceded in death by her father, Fred and daughters: Connie and Michaela.
