Roberta R. “Bobbi” Ryder, 80 of North Sioux City, South Dakota passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at a local hospital. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Roberta Rae “Bobbi” Ryder was born September 1, 1940 in Sioux City, Iowa to Theodore and Loretta (Dickes) Parvu. She graduated in 1958 from Jefferson High School, Jefferson, SD. On September 24, 1960 Roberta married Darnyl Ryder. She worked at several Banks in Sioux City and Lincoln, Nebraska. She loved to interior decorate and help others decorate. Roberta’s great joy is when she was with her family. She valued her family and faith and was a very devoted catholic who did the rosary every day. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Roberta is survived by her husband, Darnyl Ryder of North Sioux City, SD, daughter, Kelly (Russ) Criss of Sioux City, son, Dana (Kelly) Ryder of Sioux City, sister, Rochelle Keane of Springdale, Ark., 6 grand children, Erin (Heath Johns) June, Ashley (Trent Rodman) Ramm, Kelli (Andy) Cloud, Dylan Ryder, Thane Ryder, Trevor Benjamin, 5 great grand children, Mercedes, Caleb, Natalie, Baylee, Chloe and one great great grandchild, Willow.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Al Parvu, nephew, Al Parvu, Jr., and brother-in-law, Steve Keane.
