Robert E. “Bob” Zink, 74 of Sioux City, Iowa passed Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at a local care facility.  Private Graveside service was held 1:00pm Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City.

Bob was born November 27, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of John and Marjorie (Speichinger) Zink. He graduated from Heelan High School in 1967. Bob served in the Air Force for 6 years from August 24, 1967 to August 23, 1973. He worked as a mechanic for a company in Le Mars, IA and for Bomgaars in Sioux City, IA.

Bob enjoyed rebuilding cars and trucks, and drag racing. He won a lot of trophies.

He was a member of the St. Joesph and St. Michael Catholic Church.

Robert is survived by his brother, John (Christine) Zink, two sisters, Julie (Doug) Cameron, Carol (Robert “Bob”) Ortner, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, and by many many friends.
