Robert “Bob” William Puterbaugh, 69 of Sioux City, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at a local hospital. Memorial Services will be held 10:00am Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Onawa Community Center, with a last convoy following the service. A luncheon will follow back at the community center. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

Robert “Bob” W. Puterbaugh was born March 10, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio the son of Robert and Avis (Blackburn) Puterbaugh. Bob grew up Oceanside, California, where he graduated. He joined the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War and Persian Gulf War. Bob married Tu Phan in Vietnam and had three daughters Sandy, Brandy, and Mandy. He later married Norma Bodder, they had Aaron and James. Bob then married Robin Swanson in 1995; together they made their home in Sioux City.

Bob was a truck driver for over 40 years specializing in heavy equipment hauling, retiring from Anderson Trucking Service in 2015, after retiring he then went to work for Fenton Construction.

He loved to build replica models, was an avid boater, and also enjoyed cooking, baking and trying anything new.

Bob is survived by his wife Robin of Sioux City, eight children; Sandy Puterbaugh and Fiancé, Daniel Perry of Onawa, IA., Brandy Puterbaugh of Onawa, IA., Mandy Puterbaugh of Underwood, IA., Jason (Lori) Allen of Sioux City, James (Lori) Sanchez of Council Bluff, IA., Ricky Allen of Sioux City, IA., Aaron (Stephanie) Puterbaugh of Rock Rapids, IA., Amanda Parks of Sergeant Bluff, IA., 27 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, one sister Lana (Mike) Parsons of Virginia Beach, VA., and two brothers; Russell (Cecile) Puterbaugh of Ogden, UT., Kenneth Puterbaugh of Ridgecrest, CA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Delores Palacat and brother Jeffery Puterbaugh.
