Robert W. “Andy” Anderson, 61 of Sioux City, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Memorial service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave, with Rev. Tess Panamarow officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, following the service. Visitation will be held 4pm- 8pm Monday, August 15, 2016 with family present from 6pm-8pm and prayer service at 7pm.

Robert Warren “Andy” Anderson was born October 26, 1954 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Floyd Anderson and Helen (Browning) Anderson/ Gilson. Andy attended East High School, graduating in 1972. He married Debbie Massey in 1976. They later divorced. In 2009 Andy married Beth Shelly.

Andy worked at Bellas Hess from 1972 - 1976, E.L. Graham Brake Company from 1976 - 1978, Advance Industries from 1978 - 1984, a local trailer manufacturer from 1984 - 2010, and then Rooster’s Harley-Davidson from 2010 - 2015.

Andy was a self-taught wood worker, stained glass artist, and loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife Beth Anderson, two sons Alan (Anita) Anderson of Sgt. Bluff, IA., Austin (Candi) Anderson of Sioux City, IA., two sisters Barb (Jerry) Wibel of Reeds Spring, MO., Patty Fisher of Bronson, IA., two brothers Dave (Linda) Anderson of Morehead, MN., Rick Anderson of Newberg, OR., and four grandchildren Sienna, Cohen, Hannah and Aero.
