Robert Tudehope, 66, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by his family on July 23, 2026. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Rob was born on April 13, 1960 in Sioux City, IA to Donald and Edna “Eddie” (Boldt) Tudehope. He was united in marriage to Janice Weaver on September 8, 1990 in Sioux City. Rob worked as a supervisor for a local packing plant before he started working for his brother's window washing company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He was a naturalist who specialized in different types of trees and was very skilled at grafting witch’s brooms. He was a lover of animals and rescued and cared for many of them growing up; including a baby raccoon, a hawk, and a crow. While growing up, he read several books on subjects like trees, birds, and several animals. He took a special interest in reptiles. Rob kept in touch with many childhood friends and acquired many more great friends over his lifetime. He was a very social person and will be missed by all of his wonderful friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Janice Tudehope; son, Jacob Tudehope; brother, Thomas “Tom” (Cindy) Tudehope, and their children: Rachel and Christopher; and many loving cousins.
