Robert P. Moore, 65, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Casa de Paz Nursing and Rehab, after a courageous battle with Squamous cell carcinoma. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will begin two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
Bobby was born on July 18, 1952 in Sioux City to Robert and Rita (Mackey) Moore. He attended Sioux City Schools and received an associate's degree in carpentry from Kirkwood Community College. Following college, Bobby entered the United States Marine Corps for two years.
Bobby was a member of the Laborer's Union and had worked for John Small Construction, Klinger Construction, B.B. Anderson in Texas, among others. Bobby enjoyed fishing, doing ceramics, and did amazing leatherwork. Bobby was a die hard fan of the Denver Broncos.
Survivors include his children, Melina Salazar, Jacob (Stephanie) White, and Rachel White; siblings, Charlene (David) Dunscomb, Denise (Bob) Holsinger, Mike (Melissa) Moore, Theresa Cleveland, and Patrick (Margie) Moore; and grandchildren, Patrick, Jacob, Jr., Brooke, Jaxon, Alexander, Gail, Alexandria, Anna, John, and Sydney.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.
