Robert M. "Bob" Pulju, 78, of Sioux City, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Per his wishes, Bob will be cremated and private family graveside will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Bob was born on January 21, 1942 in Berkeley, California, son of Hans Pulju and Eva Towns. He enlisted into the United States Marines in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1964. Following his time in the service, he moved to Iowa. On October 17, 1993, Bob was united in marriage to Carol Angerman.
Bob worked as a truck driver for most of his life, driving for various businesses in the Siouxland Area. Lastly, he worked for J&L Staffing. Bob enjoyed being a trucker, listening to music while driving, and going to casinos. Most of all, Bob loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Pulju; children, Robert (Julie) Pulju, Tamara (Matt) Ogden, Heidi Pulju, Kaylene (Joe) Watterson; and Jeanie (Mike) Visotski; sister, Roxann Wells; grandchildren, Carley, Bradley, Bobby, Taylor, Benjamin, Courtney, Haley, Drew, Kayla, Michael, Allen, Ronald, Alex, and Julie
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
