Robert and his father Richard, would always bring home the most pheasants when they hunted together. After high school, Robert traveled and lived in Colorado Springs CO, Las Vegas NV. and Newport Beach CA. While traveling, he worked in construction and painted high-rise buildings. Robert returned home to Sioux City in 1999. On February 19th 2000, Robert met his wife and lifelong partner Sharai Sharpe of Sioux City, they dated for two years and married on March 9th 2002. Robert and Sharai raised their four children together, which they both love dearly and dedicated their lives to. Robert and the family attended several churches in Sioux City, they enjoyed attending church, their faith and being involved in the food pantry ministry. In his spare time he enjoyed working out and lifting weights along with spending time with his family, camping and making many wonderful memories. Between 1999-2010 Robert worked at several nursing homes in the Tri State area before he was hired by the Burlington Northern Railroad as a conductor from 2011-2021. Upon suffering a back injury Robert retired the railroad and pursued an opportunity to invest in The Flying Eagle RV resort in Wisconsin with his wife.
