Robert "Bob" Lee Higginbotham

It is with it deep sorrow that we announced the passing of Robert Lee “Bob” Higginbotham on January 7, 2026 at a local care center. A memorial service is pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Bob was born December, 9, 1963 in Sioux City, IA to Ruth Higgenbotham. He had a witty and fun personality and brought laughter to those who knew him. He was a Patriot and loved our country very much. He also had a beloved cat named Stormy that brought him immense joy and was his best friend. Bob received his diploma in 2008 from WIT and loved working on computers.

Bob is survived by loving family. His mother, Ruth Gray; his sisters: Brenda (Robert) Oldenkamp, Danielle (Jim) Hoffman, Alyssa Vande Pol; brother, Tim (Angela) Gray; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harlan Higginbotham; his grandmother, Helen Higginbotham, and an uncle, Norman Higginbotham.
