Robert L. Allen, 78, passed away on Wednesday February 13 at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be held at a later date per Bob's wishes. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.

Robert (Bob) Lee Allen was born on March 25, 1935 to Edward and Mildred (Lamb) Allen in Sioux City, IA. Bob grew up the Greenville neighborhood of Sioux City. He served in the Army as a medic and was stationed in Korea and Libya. He married Sharon L. Hunter on May 4, 1985. He worked for National Roofing for 16 years.
Bob helped anyone and everyone who needed a hand. He had a huge heart and loved his family and friends deeply. He loved animals and always had pets. He loved to listen to music and garden. He enjoyed fishing with David and Clark and most recently his favorite times were spent around Michelle's kitchen table sharing stories and laughs. He was a great husband and father and he will be missed tremendously.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon, two sons, Joel and Jason (Jennifer) Hunter, six grandchildren, Jakob, Caleb, Gabe, Payton, Haley, and Aaden Hunter, and many more family members and friends.
