Ricky R. Anderson, 52 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at a local hospital.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ricky was born July 14, 1964 in Sioux City, IA the son of Carl and Eleanor (Brown) Anderson, Sr. He married Judy Brewer December 7, 1987 in Sioux City.

Ricky was a Redskin fan, a boxer from 1977 until 1979, and had a gym in the back of his barber shop called the “Bill Engle’s Gym.”

He enjoyed time with his family and loved his wife dearly.

Ricky is survived by his wife Judy, two sons; Paul, Travis both of Sioux City, one daughter Angel Brewer of South Sioux City, five sisters; Linda (Tim) Larkin, Sheri (Frederick Brown) Curiel, Elaine (Matt Goodwin) Marshall, Barb (Dru) Jurrens, Jenny (Kevin) Murphy and one grandchild Wakieya.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and one brother Carl Anderson, Jr.
