Richard Armand White Jr., 49, of Sioux City, IA, passed away November 7, 2023.  A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 15th from 4-7:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Private service will be held on Thursday.

Rick was born on July 3, 1974, in Sioux City, IA to Richard and Vickie (Monell) White Sr.  He graduated from North High in 1992 and earned his finance degree from Morningside College.  Rick was united into marriage to Stephanie Drake in 2003; to this union they had a son, Nolan.  Rick worked in finance for many years until opening a cab company with his brother in 2014, and most recently was in sales for Ashley Furniture.  He loved playing/watching sports and for many years Rick was active in local bowling/pool leagues and played baseball for the Sioux City Giants. One of his last true passions was coaching his sons little league team. Rick was a horror movie buff, always quick with a compliment, and had an infectious laugh! He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, he loved his beer, and grilling out during his down time.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Nolan Jackson White; father and step-mom, Richard (Teresa) White Sr.; girlfriend, Susan Rassel; brothers: Anthony (Jammie) White, Richard LeRoy White, Corey Dean (Katy) White; step-brothers: Chad (Leah) Stevens, Jimmy Most Sr., Dennis Most Jr., Ricky Most, Jesse Anderson; aunts and uncles: Lorna Goetchius, Rosemary (Myron) Sands, Cheryl (Steve) Silkotch, Tina (Dave) Little, Larry (Tina) Monell, Steve (Cindy) Monell Jr., Robert (Eileen) White; numerous cousins; and ex-wife Stephanie White.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Vickie; grandparents; and brother, Donnie Ray White.
