Rick D. Reller, 63, of Sioux City, IA, passed away peacefully after a sudden illness on November 26, 2025. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. His ashes will go to the Black Hills at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Rick was born on July 23, 1962 in Deadwood, SD to John and Mary Reller. He was the middle of nine children, sharing special bonds with each. The family moved to Worthington, MN where he graduated in 1980. His love for the outdoors began there. His true peace was found in nature. His boys were born in 1990 and 1993. He was a proud and loving Dad. He was united in marriage to Christina Risner and they shared 25 years together.

Rick was a hardworking, dependable man and maintained special friendships throughout his working career.

He is survived by his wife, Chrissy Reller; Royal baby, Ebony Marie; sons: Ryan (Kristen) and Weston (Tessa) ; grandchildren: Julia, Bay and Banks; his mother, Mary Reller; mother-in-law, Delores Risner; siblings: Sherry Kass, Rod (Sheryll) Reller; Wanda (Lyle) Krull, Jonna Zeiner, Randy (Teri) Reller, Leah Reller; brother and sister in-laws: Sabrina (Ron), Daneen (Tracy), Dan (Debbie); and many other loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Reller; father-in-law, Cecil; sisters: Debbie Hirsch, Kathy Wilson; brother-in-law, Bill Wilson, Chuck Zeiner; nephew, Andy Risner; and Royal girls: Shelby, Posie, and Gigi.

Remember Rick on a blue sky day, when you fish and hunt. When you hear “Long way to the Top”, do a cheers and howl at the moon. Til we meet again my Angel.
