Richard Dale Oliver, 56, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at his residence. Services will be held 6:30 pm, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will begin at 3:00 pm until service time on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date.

Rick was born on November 8, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa to Larry and Betty (Van Dam) Oliver. He graduated from South Sioux City High School.

Rick worked at Load King in Elk Point for many years. Starting in 2013, he worked for Compressed Steel in Sioux City. Rick enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and NASCAR.

Survivors include two daughters, Korey Oliver of OK and Alicia (Brad) Seely and their daughter, Lily of North Dakota; siblings, Floyd Oliver, Terry Oliver, Roxanne Beechy, and Jim (Tammy Austad) Oliver; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian Oilver; and nephew, Chad Oliver.
