Richard W. Huot, 77 of Kingsley, Iowa passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at a local care facility.  Graveside Services will be held 10:00am Saturday, April 19, 2025, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Salix, Iowa.

Richard was born August 4, 1947, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Virginia (Moore) Huot. He graduated from Westwood High School and enlisted in the United States Army and worked as a helicopter mechanic, also serving in Vietnam. Richard received an honorable discharge.

He lived in Hawaii for 3 years, then moved to Seattle for the next 40 years. He eventually settled down in Iowa to be close to his family.

Richard is survived by his siblings; Keith Moore, Kate (Paul) Petrignani, Julie (Chris) Case, Hubert (Shelly) Hout, and Renee (Norman) Martin, 9 nephews, Jeff, Nicholas, Christian, Evan, Spencer, Carter, Alex, Adam, and Gavin, one niece, Amanda.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Christine Huot and Deann Huot.
