Richard A. Bellows, 59, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away October 31, 2011 at Touchstone Living Center. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Greg Hanneman officiating.

Richard was born November 1, 1951 in Elgin, Illinois to Raymond and Lucille (Wienke) Bellows. He grew up in Brodhead, Wisconsin and moved to Sioux City with his wife, Janice. Later, Richard moved back to Wisconsin to farm, he also did various building maintenance jobs and factory work. For the last five years, Richard has lived in Sioux City.

Richard loved to fish and travel. He attended St. John Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his daughters Lisa Royce of Wisconsin, Sharon Schoener (Randy) of Sioux City, and Charlotte Goulette (Del) of Pierson, Iowa, brothers Donald Bellows (Jan) of Wisconsin, and James Bellows (Sandra) of Sioux City, sisters Carole Aggerbeck (Jerry) of Colorado, Helen Woods (Kenneth) of Wisconsin, Linda Alexander (Robert) of Illinois, Norma Koepen (Ron) of Wisconsin, and Pam Hoffman (Rick) of Illinois, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Robby and Eugene Royce, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and his ex-wife Janice.
