Richard “Rich” Allen Musto, 77, of Sioux City, IA, passed away June 17, 2025 at a local hospital.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.

Rich was born on September 20, 1947 in Sioux City, IA to Frank and Elaine (Jessen) Musto.  He graduated from Central high school and went on to attend Western Iowa Tech Community College.  Rich enlisted in the United States Navy and served until he was honorably discharged.  He then started working at a packing house and doing construction.  Later, he began working as an equipment sterilizer for Mercy Medical for 30 years, retiring in 2019.  He was united in marriage to Donetta Owings in April of 1976, she preceded him in death.  He enjoyed playing chess, solitaire, doing crosswords, and watching football.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Anthony Musto; brother, Michael Musto; sister, Jan Hansen; and 2 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donetta.
