Richard "Rick" A. Wynn, 60, of Round Lake, MN, formerly of Sioux City, IA, passed away on November 25, 2024, in Worthington, MN, surrounded by his family.  A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, December 1, 2024, with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Rick was born on January 26, 1964, in Sioux City, Iowa to Gary and Rita (Riibe) Wynn.  He graduated from Lawton Bronson High School, where he was a star track runner. He was married to Gail Fuehrer for 18 years and in this union, they were blessed with three children. They later divorce.

On July 27, 2000, he married Lori McDonald, and Rick was blessed with three stepchildren. The couple lived in Sioux City before moving to Round Lake, MN in December of 2022.

Rick worked as a mechanic and owned and operated Wynns Master Auto Repair in Sioux City. Rick was a local race car driver over the years at Park Jefferson Speedway and Interstate Speedway. When he was unable to race anymore, he continued to enjoy his love of racing with others in the pits helping with their cars.  If there was an issue with someone's car Rick always knew how to fix it.

The past few years he enjoyed having his grandson Cameron, his sidekick in the pits. Rick was a loving person who enjoyed spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Lori Wynn; children: Krissie (Nick) Schroeder, Felicia (Will Flanders) Wynn, and Melissa Wynn; stepchildren: Dustin (Stephanie) McDonald, Lindsey (Josh) Hebert, and Amber (Josh) Mahnke; brother-in-law, Shane Turner; grandchildren: Carson, Cameron, Jessa, Jaelyn, Johanna, Logan, Carter, Brinley, Dylan, Lathan, and Shelby.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vergil Wynn; and his mother-in-law, Marie Turner.
