Rhonda Samson, 62, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on March 5, 2024.  A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 11th at 6:00 p.m. at Salix United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Rhonda was born on September 18, 1961, in Sioux City, IA to Harold and Lorreta (Baker) Haakinson. She graduated from Westwood High School. In 1995 Rhonda married Randall "Randy" Samson. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing slots at the casino, watching cooking shows and traveling with her sisters.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Walker Samson; stepson, Eric Samson; granddaughter, Kacie Samson; sisters: Debbie (Tom) Templeton, Diane (Warren) Spencer, Patti (Brad) Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randall; and granddaughter, Josie Samson.
