Rhonda M. Holmberg, 54, of Sioux City, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Celebration of Rhonda's life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm with family present from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Rhonda was born on Friday, October 22, 1965 in Sioux City.  She graduated from East High School in 1984 and from Wayne State College in 1988 with a degree in business. Rhonda was united in marriage to David Holmberg on September 21, 1996 in Sioux City.

Rhonda worked as a lunch lady at Longfellow Elementary and Spalding Elementary. She loved working with the kids at school. She also enjoyed doing crafts and being a show choir parent to her boys, Alex and Andrew, at East High School.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Holmberg; mother, Barb Jernberg of Sioux City; sons Alex and Andrew Holmberg, both of Sioux City; brothers, Jeff (Nikki) Jernberg of Lawton, Terry Jernberg of Sioux City, and John (Kim) Davis of Lincoln, NE; and sister, Patti (Troy) Reistroffer of Miss.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Tris Jernberg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Rhonda's sons Alex and Andrew for their future endeavors.
