Renee C. (Gastro) Schroeder, 56 of North Sioux City, South Dakota passed away December 14, 2025 at her home. Services are pending at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Renee was born on May 10, 1969, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Dwaine and Marjeanne (Eufers) Gastro.

Renee grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Bishop Heelan High School. She married Russ Schroeder. They later divorced. Renee worked at Wells Blue Bunny, Tyson Foods and was most recently employed by MidAmerican Energy.

She was a member of the Garden Club. Renee loved her dog, Oliver, and her cat, Frankie. She enjoyed cooking, cosmetics, and plants.

Renee is survived by her parents, Dwaine and Marjeanne Gastro; her sister, Kari Burnside; nephews and nieces, DeQuan Burnside, DeAndre Burnside, Deshawnte Burnside and KiMia Phipps.
