Rebecca "Becky" Ann Mothershead

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Mothershead, 69, of Sioux City, IA, passed away September 7, 2025, at Westwood Specialty Care.  A funeral service will be held Friday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to invite you to a luncheon at 4:00pm Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Riverside Lutheran/New Hope Church, 1817 Riverside Blvd, Sioux City.

Becky was born on September 10, 1955, in Fort Dodge, IA to Leslie and Marjorie (Laton) Kirchner.  She was united in marriage to Joseph Mothershead on August 8, 1980.  She worked at Indian Hills nursing home doing laundry and housekeeping.  She later worked at Westwood Specialty care for over 20 years, where she took great pride in preparing the food for the residents.  Becky loved family get-togethers, and her favorite holiday was Christmas, she kept her decorations up year-round.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cookies and banana nut bread.

Those left to honor her memory include her partner of over 40 years, Henry Greer; children: Matthew (Jayme) Mothershead, Izzlee (Juan) Spiller, Herbert (Kristina) Mothershead; grandchildren: Dontae (Riki) Mothershead, Raelee (Jake) Thompson, Joseph Mothershead, Moxx (fiancé, Jordyn) Hanson, Micheala, Logon, and Jasmine Mothershead; great-grandchildren: Bryson, Weston, Eva, Ella, and Nyx.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sons: Joey and Jay.
