Randy L. Kortum, 65 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family. Services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Randy was born January 14, 1957 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Elmer and Dorene (Dandurand) Kortum. Randy attended West High School. In 1988 he met Brenda Boyle, and they married on September 1, 2000. He joined the Army National Guard in 1977 and was honorably discharged in 1993. Randy worked as a maintenance man in the Siouxland area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda, three sons, Kenneth Kortum, Dwight Kortum, Garrett Kortum, two daughters, Katrina (Robert) Hostetler, Nichole (Jacob) Uhl, brother, Terry (Sheri) Kortum, sister, Karen Kay Reed, and 11 grandchildren, Jaxson, Attalie, Easton, Kaleb, Ashlyn, Everly, Noah, Archie, Harlow, Harris, and Harlan.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents.
