Randal “Randy” L. Boyle, 72, of Sioux City, IA, passed away at home surrounded by his family on February 9, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Mater Dei Parish-Nativity Church. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Randy was born on December 7, 1953 in Temple, TX to Charles and Bertie (Bell) Boyle. He graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1971 and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He served from 1971-1973 before he was honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Nancy Hanus on August 10, 1974.
Randy worked at Terra Chemical/CF Industries before retiring as Superintendent of Operations after 42 years. He was a faithful member of Nativity Catholic Church. For many years, he umpired softball and served as a board member of the Siouxland Youth Athletics.
Until his passing, he spent many years as a member of the Strollers Car Club where he and Nancy enjoyed traveling to car shows throughout the tri-state area. Randy was an all around handyman and would find projects that required purchasing new tools. He worked hard and rested even harder (especially in his Lazy-Boy). He was a proud family man who loved his daughters, sons by marriage, and grandchildren. He would bend over backwards to help others and was a man of few words. Randy’s infectious laugh and full head of hair will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Nancy Boyle; daughters: Jennie and Kyle Stoner, Angela and Michael Loutsch, and Cathy and Josh Grimsley; grandchildren: Skyler, Mya, and Lincoln Stoner, Charlette and Cale Loutsch, and Haley and Ashlynn Grimsley; his mother, Bertie Boyle; siblings Kate and Ken Wiscus, Deidre and Gary Engel, and Bryon and Barb Boyle; brother-in-law, John Famer, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Boyle; sister, Betty Farmer; brother, Rodney Boyle; sister-in-law, Diane Boyle; and mother-in-law, Carolyn Hanus.
