Rae M. Jensen, 66, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Holy Spirit Retirement Home.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. with a visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Rae was born on October 12,1948, the daughter of Charles and Betty (Schenzel) Westfall. She attended Central High School in Sioux City. Rae graduated from WITT and became a certified nurse assistant (CNA) working in numerous nursing facilities and in-home care in the Sioux City area.

Rae loved to crochet, embroider, travel and go fishing. She was kind hearted and loved to take care of everyone.

Survivors include her children: LeahAnn (Chad) Stephens, Sharlene Pranschke, and Michael (Barbara Castillo) Jensen, grandchildren: Nicholas, Mathew, Ash Lee, Jessica, and Ryan Jensen, and sisters: Linda and Cynthea Westfall all of Sioux City.

Rae was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and nephew Christopher Jones.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Siouxland and the staff at Holy Spirit Retirement Home for the exceptional care they provided for Rae.
