Rachelle L. Paulson, 53 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at a local hospital.

Memorial service will be held 4:00pm Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Heartland Baptist Church, with Rev. Gene Stockton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Rachelle Lee Paulson was born April 10, 1963 in Vermillion, South Dakota the daughter of LeRoy Larsen and Phyllis (Rosenbaum) Burns. She married Patrick Oothoudt, they later divorce. In 1995 she married Clint Paulson.

Rachelle drove truck for Siouxland sand and gravel, Udell Trucking, also drove buses for the schools in the local area. She was a member of the Heartland Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters Jenifer (Brandon) Van Beek of McCook Lake, SD, Phylleshia Larsen of Sioux City, one step son Tyler Paulson of Branson, MO., two sisters Cass Rabe of Gayville, SD., Marie Burns of Sioux City, four grandchildren Chel Larsen, Timothy Peterson, Patience Van Beek, and Serenity Van Beek.

Rachelle is preceded in death by her parents Phyllis Burns, LeRoy Larsen, step father D.P. Burns.
