Phillip C. Gigaroa, 91 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church in Sioux City, Iowa. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Friday, January 27, 2023, with Rosary at 6:45pm and prayer service at 7:00pm at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Phillip was born July 21, 1931, in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Felix and Ruth (Diaz) Gigaroa. Phillip grew up in Sioux City, Iowa where he graduated High School. On December 31, 1951, Phillip married Joyce Martin. He worked at the Sioux City Cold Storage and was an interpreter for the Clerk of Courts.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, attending church, raising and showing German Shepherds.

Phillip is survived by children, Anthony (Diane) Gigaroa of Anthon, IA, Dennis (Donna) Gigaroa of Sioux City, IA, Linda Peterson of Sioux City, IA, and David (Sheryl) Gigaroa of Sioux City, IA, sister, Rita Frost of South Sioux City, NE., brother, Ernest (Patricia) Gigaroa of Salix, IA, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce, daughter, Felcia Gigaroa, his brother, Angel Gigaroa.
