Peggy A. Crom, 76 of Anthon, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Peggy Ann Crom was born April 15, 1942 in Woodbine, Iowa the daughter of Bernard Brummer and Helen Kepford. She attended High School in Tekamah, NE. Peggy married Howard Crom on February 27, 1959. The couple lived in Lyons, South Sioux City, and Hubbard, NE. Peggy moved to Anthon, Iowa in 2012.  Peggy worked in Child Care and Senior Care for many years before going to work at the Boys and Girls Home for 18 years, she retired in 2010.

She is survived by her son Michael (Bonnie) Crom of Wakefield, NE, daughter Teresa Reeder of Corpus Christi, TX, seven grandchildren; Tiffany (Mark) Olson, Vincent (Jennifer) Crom, Eric Reeder, Brittany Reeder, Ryan (Kate) Reeder, Zach Crom (Fiance Hope), Austin Crom, five great grandchildren, three brothers; Robert (Lori) Brummer of Denison, IA, Larry Brummer of Mexico, Jim (Sandy) Brummer of Pelican Rapids, MN, one sister Mary Schmidt of Blair, NE, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard, son Jeffery Crom, one sister Patsy Modlin, two brothers; Joseph, and Max Brummer, and her special friend Vic Banta.
