Peggy Ann Case, 77, passed away Friday November 29, 2024 at her home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 7, 2024 at 11am at the Hawarden Community Center 1151 Avenue H, Hawarden, IA. Visitation will be one hour prior at the same location.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Peggy was born Thursday, January 2, 1947 in Sioux City, IA to Edward and Ethel (Trisler) Price. She grew up with her nine brothers and sisters. She married Milo Headid in 1963 and to this union four children were born: Theresa, Lori, Michael and Richard. Milo and Peggy divorced in 1971.

Peggy married the love of her life, Richard “Bob” Case June 10, 1983. They were the best of friends!  Peggy was a spunky lady. She was caring and creative, often dressing up with Bob to create fun in any situation! She and Bob loved to travel, gamble, and dance. Peggy loved her family. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years Richard “Bob” Case, children Theresa (Jim) Muhe, Lori (Bob) Pierce, Michael (Sandi) Headid, Richard Headid, Tina Smit, and Benjamin (Nichole) Case; grandchildren Jeffery, Evan, Austin, Nichole, Michael, Matthew, Marcus, Morgan, Cameron, Brenden, Savannah, Raegan, Brooklyn, Brandon, Brandi, Alexander, and Tyler; many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, siblings Bob Kopecky, Joe (Michelle) Kopecky, Audrey (James) Leming, Donna (Jim) Estes, Bonnie (Bob) DeVall and Jim Nickles; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Eddie Price, Ethel and Ivan Kliment; sisters Patty Hanson, Beverly Simoni, Barbara DeWall, and Betty Hartman; and her son in law Bruce Smit.
