Peggy J. Bertrand, 61, of Quimby, IA, formerly of Sioux City, IA passed away November 8, 2016 at her residence. Services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Gald Tidings Lighthouse, 410 East 10th Street, South Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Peggy was born on December 15, 1954 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne and Nora (Musser) Wilkens.

Survivors include her husband, Laurence of Quimby; father, Wayne (Christine) Wilkens of Florida; children, Aaron (Heidi) Suhorepetz of Sioux City, Kaye (Salomon) Sanchez of Sioux City, Trish Smith of Sioux City, and Amanda (James) Vogel of Correctionville, IA; one brother; four sisters; many grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Wilkens; infant son, Paul Suhorepetz; daughter, Selena Suhorepetz; and three grandchildren.
