Paula Marie “Firecracker” Peters, 58 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Sioux City.

Services will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery.

Paula was born on February 9, 1964 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Peters and Peggy Britton.

She attended West High School in Sioux City. She worked as a automotive parts delivery driver and also as a chauffeur driver.

Paula was widely known for her smile, compassion and stubbornness, but that never stopped anyone from loving her.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Cecelia Peters-Dospoy of Sioux City and her sister, Karen Neal of Woodland Hills, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her significant other, Curtis Dospoy.
