Patrick W. "Pat" Sargent, 68 of Salix, Iowa passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his home. Per Patrick wishes a cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Pat was born on May 30, 1955 in Clarksville, Tennessee the son of Elbert and Dorothy (Peterson) Sargent. He graduated from Sergeant Bluff Luton High School in 1973. Pat went on to continue his education at WIT community college. He worked at the U.S. Postal service and retired in 2010.

He is survived by his sister, Roxann Beacom.
