Patrick “Skip” Joseph Delperdang, 70, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by his family on December 21, 2024.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Skip was born on August 5, 1954, in Sioux City, IA to Ralph and Dorothy (Madden) Delperdang.  He graduated from high school and went on to attend Western Iowa Tech Community College.  He enlisted into the United States Army and was honorably discharged.  Skip was united in marriage to LaVonne Handke in 1990 in Sioux City, IA.  Together they enjoyed taking trips to the Black Hills.  He worked for Schuster Trucking for 24 years before retiring.  Skip enjoyed riding his Harley and shooting his guns.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, LaVonne Delperdang; children: Nikolle Bell and Shannon Green; grandchildren: Beka Bell, Anthony Green, and Sean Green; great-granddaughter: Belissa Green; brothers: Ed, Leo (Connie) and Ron Delperdang; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
