Patricia Ann Skuya Ramirez, 81 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her residence. Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Patricia was born on October 17, 1943, in Sioux City the daughter of Willam and Ramona (Fleming) Skuya. She attended Central High School. Patricia was a homemaker for many years, then worked at John Morrell and later at Fareway Store in the Bakery Department, retiring in 2013.

Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and also her birds, a quaker parrot named "Squawk" and a dove she rescued called "Lovey Dovey". Patricia enjoyed painting and selling ceramics at craft shows and fairs in the surrounding area and had a booth at the Peters Park flea market.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Rita (Randy) Carrell, Lori (Jim) Burns, Olivia Ramirez, sons Joe (Lucy) Ramirez, Bill Melbie, Gustavo (Elsa) Ramirez, Sr. and Hugo (Aurora) Ramirez Sr., 18 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Granddaughter and two sisters, Barb (Roger "Butch") Quam and Sandy Dorfman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Mike Skuya and Bill Skuya
