Patricia A. “Pat” Christman, 75 of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 surrounded by her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 pm at the church; with the family present from 6-8 pm and the Vigil Service at 7 pm. Patricia was born on January 31, 1940 in Sioux City, the daughter of George and Coila (Crane) Johnson. She graduated in 1959 from Central High School. Pat started working at the Palmer House as a waitress. On December 25, 1965 Pat was united in marriage to George Christman.
Pat also worked at St. Joseph Hospital. She then worked at Marion Health Center, retiring after 26 years from Mercy Medical Center.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Pat is survived by one son, Bill Christman and his wife Kelly of Alcester, South Dakota; one daughter Sue and her husband Steve Becker of Sioux City; four grandchildren, Sara and Zachary Christman, Katlynn Freeman and Alexis Cloud, and one brother, Harry Johnson of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George in 2008, and four brothers, Roy, Ron, Don and Gene Johnson.
