Patricia A. "Patti" Morris, 68 of Sloan, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at a Sioux City hospital after a two month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday at Friendship Community Church in Sergeant Bluff, with Rev. Verlyn Schaap officiating. Visitation 4-8 pm Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service, with the family present 6-8 pm.

Patricia was born on February 12, 1944 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Martin and Helen (Glazis) Johnson.

Patti worked for Interbake Foods from 1974 until retiring during 1999. She lived in the Riverside area until 1996 when she moved to Sloan.

Patti is survived by her husband Rick Morris of Sloan; her four children, Kim and her husband Tom Nieman of Dakota City, Kirk Pierce and his wife Sonya of Sioux City, Kristin Pierce of Sergeant Bluff and Kari and her husband Tony Berge also of Sergeant Bluff; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; two sisters, Constance (Joe) Smith, Gerri (Gary) Garrison; and two brothers, Mike (Raydell) Kleve and Bill (Jean) Kleve; and her ex-husband, Bob Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Rudy Kleve, a son Bobby, a daughter Kelly and one sister, Marilynn.
