Patricia A Jasman, age 58 of Sioux City passed away on Sunday June 30, 2013 at her residence under the care of Hospice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday July 6, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sioux City with Father Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm with the family present from 6-8 and a Vigil service held at 7:00 pm at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Patty was born on September 3, 1954 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of William E. and Delores J “Broderson” Steele. She attended Bishop Heelan Schools and later received her GED.

Patty worked at Zenith Manufacturing and IBP until illness forced her retirement. She enjoyed music, crocheting and movies. She is remembered by her family as a special caregiver to all of her family and friends.

Patty will be missed by her family which includes her son Matthew H. Steele, a granddaughter Ashley, her mother Delores Steele, her siblings: Mark and his wife Gabby Steele, Kimberly Richardson and her husband David, William J. Steele and his wife Cindy, David Steele and his wife Shelly, and Kelly Demaree and her husband Donald. She is also survived by her Uncle John Steele of Florida, Uncle Joe Broderson of Remsen, Iowa, Aunt Ollie Robertson of South Carolina and Aunt Gladys Broderson of Sioux City. She is also survived by a special nephew Jacob Full who thought of Patty as a second mother.

She was preceded in death by her father William Steele, her grandparents, and her sister Amy J. Full.
