Patricia L. Curry, 76, of Sergeant Bluff, IA, formerly of Sioux City, IA passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Services will be held 10:30 Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Morningside Assembly of God in Sioux City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City.

Patricia was born on October 1, 1946 to Mary and A.P. Idso in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from East High School in 1964. In her youth she had a horse that she enjoyed riding, and dogs that she trained and competed with in 4-H county and state fairs for obedience and showmanship.

Patricia married Patrick Curry, her loving husband of 47 years, on August 16, 1975. Patrick and Patricia had 3 children, Michael, Mary, and Aaron. Patricia later attended Morningside College and received her bachelor’s degree in Religion and Indian Studies and her master’s degree in Religion from Creighton University.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick, her son, Mike and his wife Jenny and their children; Dylan and Rebecca of Eden Prairie, MN, daughter, Mary Andersen and her husband Tony and their children; Kara and Abby of Sergeant Bluff, IA, and son, Aaron and his son Maximus of Sioux City, IA. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
