Pamela Patrice (Falan) Rask ,67, of Sioux City, Iowa, left our earthly realm, on May 19, 2023, with family by her side, after a long-term battle with COPD. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 4125 Orleans Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106 from 2 to 4pm (service at 3pm).

Pam was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 8, 1955 to Carol Travers (Cote), and was raised as an only child by her adoptive parents Russell and Dorothy (George) Falan.

Pam graduated in 1973 from Jackson High School in South Bend, Indiana. She entered into her first marriage to Steven Pennington on August 17th, 1974. From that union, they had a daughter in 1979.

In South Bend, Pam worked in office administration for her late father's heating and air business, Notre Dame University, and Tri-State Windows and Doors. She also worked in the food service industry for many years.

Pam relocated to several other states over the years. She ultimately settled down in Sioux City and married Raymond Rask on April 25, 2009, who she remained devoted to until the end of her time on this plane.

In 2013, Pam was able to connect with her siblings from her birth mother and several cousins so, she grew her family even more. In 2020 Pam retired from an office position with Road Machinery and Supplies Co., in Sioux City.

Pam took every opportunity to travel near and far, spend time with her family, and experience life right up until her last days.

Pam was a compassionate, kind, and wonderful woman. She gave so much to those she cared for and never asked for anything in return. Her one and final wish is to have an ash scattering ceremony in Florida, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Pam was preceded in death by her birth mother, a sibling, her adoptive parents, and recently, a great grandson, Lucca Fuentes.

Pam is survived by her spouse Raymond Rask, a daughter Adrienne (Matt) Chwirka, grandchildren Enrique (Maigan) Fuentes, and Daniel Blackwell Jr., great-grandchildren Jasmine and Sebastian Fuentes, siblings Teri (Everett) Smanda, Mark (Debbie) DePermentier, James (Bonnie) DePermentier, special extended family Christine Holtzen and daughter Cayla, Brittany Dallen and daughter Wynter, Dorothy Fuentes and daughter Jordin, and fur babies LuLu and Marley.
