Pamela Jo Olson, 68, of Sioux City, IA, went to Heaven September 1, 2024, surrounded by her family. During Pam's transition from earth to heaven her grandchildren, nieces, other family members, and friends placed bible verses all around the ICU room as we prayed and gave God glory for all that He is. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 6, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Glad Tidings Lighthouse Church.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Albaton, IA at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Pam was born on November 12, 1955, in Sioux City, IA to Russell and Paulina (Jacobson) Adams.  Pam was an amazing mother, and her girls were her entire world. Pam devoted her life to creating love and stability for her family. For years it was Pam and her girls, until she was united in Marriage to Ed Olson Sr on November 9, 2001. During Ed Sr and Pam's years of marriage; Pam's daughters took great comfort in knowing that their mom was being shown the unconditional love that she so deserved.

Grandma Pam enjoyed cooking, and baking making the best assortment of goodies at Christmas. Grandma Pam enjoyed this special time with her granddaughters. Pam loved canning tomatoes every year. She was able to share this family tradition with her daughter Tanya and son-in-law Ed Jr. Pam knew just how to make her daughter Stacy feel special with a homemade Red Velvet cake every year for her birthday. Pam was always ready to share in her talent of sewing to any of the family that needed clothing hemmed or patches placed.  It's impossible to put on paper just how blessed we were to have our mom, and we as her "girls" will do our very best to live her legacy showing love and grace to all.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ed Olson Sr; daughters: Stacy and husband Ed Olson Jr and Tanya and her fiancé Rahmaan Herman; and stepson Chad and wife Vicky Olson grandchildren: Coral, Christopher, Eddie, Ethan, Emma, Dayze, Elijah, MJ, and Golden. Along with great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Paulina Adams.
